FLOW WAVE MOTOR. Flow Wave is a mechanical, electrically powered motor; designed to autonomously spin Square Wave, perfectly, for as long as you want. Flow Wave's motor was conceived to be discreet, so as not to interfere with our elegant and minimalist stand design. This allows Square Wave's naturally stunning optical illusions to shine through. Flow Wave also comes with a variety of features and functions that allow for a truly custom experience, whenever and wherever you display Square Wave. One of these functions includes extensive lighting features which you can read more about below. This motor has been long suggested and awaited by our valued customers, we have heard you and made your vision a reality - so you can experience Square Wave like never before. Flow Wave never overheats and operates in silence, leaving you undisturbed. Flow Wave also consumes a minimal amount of energy, meaning you don’t have to worry about leaving it on. As with most electronics, please pay extra attention not to expose the motor to water. USB-C Cable is included. Power supply is NOT included. Works with most USB power supplies, such as cell phone charger and many batteries (example DJI'S drones with adapter).

Square Wave is designed by the highly acclaimed British artist Ivan Black. His prestigious work reflect a fascination and kinship with the mathematical patterns found everywhere in nature and inspired by the Fibonacci Sequence. This very Square Wave is included in some of the world's most important art museums, such as the MoMA in New York and Tokyo, or the MOCA in Los Angeles.

Square Wave is 100% made in Italy and is treated to resist humidity and the elements. It is perfect both for indoor and outdoor use. Every Square Wave is handmade in the North of Italy, near Lake Como, by skilled artisans, making each of them unique.

How Flow Wave works

Flow Wave works through the simple touch of a button. To turn Flow Wave on, press and hold the button down until it begins to spin Square Wave, this stage is light free. Press the button (without holding) once after this and Flow Wave will cycle through the entirety of it's lighting options. Press a second time and a green light will turn on, press a third time and a blue light will turn on, press a fourth time and a red light will turn on. Now for the light combo options, where a mixture of different hues and lights are mixed to create a richer ambient experience. Press a fifth time and a blue-green light will turn on. Press a sixth time and a blue-red-pink light will turn on. Press a seventh time and a resplendent red, green and yellow light will come to life. Pressing an eighth time will activate the awe inspiring Aurora function, which mimics the lights of the Aurora Borealis. To turn your Flow Wave off entirely, simply press and hold the button once again. The stand keeps a memory of the last color used, so it will always start on the last cycle you left it on.

A New Way To Display Square Wave

Flow Wave is a new way to display your Square Wave, adding constant and endless motion to your kinetic sculpture. Flow Wave naturally and elegantly spins your Square Wave with a random motion, while complimenting it with different and colorful lights that can be turn on or off. These features mean that you can customize your Flow Wave to revitalize or completely change the mood of whatever space you choose. Set your lights to a rich, red hue as you sit down for dinner with the family, to recreate the effect of warm candlelight, bathing the room in tranquility. You can even turn the lights off in your den and set your Flow Wave to the Aurora setting, while sipping on a hot cup of cocoa - allowing yourself to be transported to the North Pole. Flow Wave will revolutionize the way you use and show Square Wave, for the ultimate immersive experience. 

A Bespoke Lighting Experience

When we drew up plans to design Flow Wave we wanted to make sure it was more than a motor, we wanted Flow Wave to be a user experience in and of itself. One group of our customers emphasized their interest in a Square Wave that could move on it's own, another were interested in implementing a lighting feature within the stand. We thought, "why not do both?" - resulting in a remarkable light show provided directly by Flow Wave, to suit any number of moods and environments. Flow Wave provides users with an option of 7 lighting combinations, containing 12 unique colors, emitted by high quality LED s. We also included an Aurora option which works with any Square Wave to recreate the same light and color schemes created by the Aurora Borealis at Earth's poles. 

Perpetual Relaxation

The joy of watching a river gurgle or seeing the clouds float by, lies in passive observation. Playing with Square Wave can be profoundly soothing, however, for those who want to simply observe, Flow Wave offers you maximum immersion in relaxation. You can completely let go and drift off as you watch Square Wave dance before you in a bath of whatever light soothes you most. Create your own personal paradise with Flow Wave, a teleportation chamber from stress; whether it be a dark room with incense or placing your Square Wave by your bedside to guide you gently to sleep. Your Square Wave can now provide you with perpetual relaxation.

Ease of use

We pride ourselves on Flow Wave's ease of installation and use. Flow Wave has a magnetic snap-in system, meaning no fixtures are needed to apply your Square Wave to it's automated stand. Simply place your Square Wave in the provided slots and it will click into place, simple as could be. Flow Wave also comes with a USB-C cable to provide the stand with easy charging and energy when you need it. From the moment you receive your package, using Flow Wave will be an intuitive and straight forward experience, leaving you with little other to do than relax and enjoy your new motorized stand.
